Prof. Vladimir Anatolyevich Zakharov is a Invited Professor in Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, Shenzhen MSU-BIT University. He was PhD student at the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, Lomonosov Moscow State University. During 2015-2022, he was leading research associate in Faculty of Computer Science, Laboratory of Process-Aware Information Systems National Research University Higher School of Economics. His research interests include Discrete mathematics, Automata theory, Applied logics, Software verification, Information security. He received 2019 Best paper award at the 13th International Conference on Language and Automata Theory and Applications. He had published over 200 papers.

Prof. Zakharov Vladimir

Prof. Wengang Bi received his PhD from University of California, San Diego, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1997. After devoting his career on forefront research and development at Hewlett Packard Laboratories, Agilent Technologies Inc., Philips-Lumileds, and Intel, Prof. Bi currently works at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, as a professor. He has more than 20 years of R&D experience on cutting-edge opto-electronic and photonic materials and devices (DFB lasers, EML, Micro-LEDs, etc.) by MBE, MOCVD and chip processing for AR, VR, VLC applications as well as next-generation 400G/800G Silicon Photonics Technology and Product. PI of a number of large-scale academic research and industrial projects and published more than 140 peer reviewed journal papers. Lead editor of “Handbook of GaN Semiconductor Materials and Devices”, published by Taylor and Francis.

He is an elected Fellow of Optica (formally OSA), Fellow of SPIE, and Academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Engineering Sciences.

His current research interests include third-generation semiconductor materials and devices, colloidal quantum dots, Micro-LEDs and their applications to solid-state lighting and next-generation displays.
